Essential Oils

Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts. They capture the plant’s scent and flavour, or “essence”. Essential oils are made by distilling or pressing various parts of the plant (leaves, flowers, fruit etc.). Each essential oil has unique therapeutic benefits and is used for a variety of concerns.

You can use essential oils in a number of ways. You can diffuse them in an essential oil diffuser, apply them to your skin (with an oil carrier like fractionated coconut oil if you have sensitive skin) or ingest them. Essential oils are very potent, so you do need to be cautious when you use them. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils. They have little-to-no scent and can be used to safely apply essential oils to your skin.

You can use roll-on essential oils on the bottoms of your feet, the insides of your wrists, behind your ears and on your temples, plus many more places!

Some essential oils are harder or easier to extract than others. And the natural product themselves can also be limited - hence the price differences.

Essential oils should be stored away from direct heat and sunlight, and children. We recommend keeping them in a wooden box so that they’re all kept together safe and sound.
